What This Covers

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of riskmeridian.io and any Risk Ready Reports or related services provided by Risk Meridian ("we," "us," "our"). By purchasing a report or using our site, you agree to these Terms.

What We Sell

Risk Meridian produces property-level insurance risk intelligence reports ("Risk Ready Reports") for residential properties in Central Texas. Each report analyzes publicly available data across multiple risk dimensions — flood, wind/hail, wildfire, foundation/soil, roof condition, claims history, and more — and delivers a composite risk score, dimensional breakdowns, cost estimates, and mitigation recommendations.

Reports are priced at $149 per property unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

How Reports Work

When you purchase a report, we collect data from public sources (FEMA, NOAA, USGS, county appraisal districts, etc.), run it through our scoring models, and deliver a formatted PDF report to the email address you provide. Your report will be emailed to you within 24 hours of your order.

Each report is generated for a specific property address at a specific point in time. The data, scores, and recommendations reflect conditions as of the report date.

Report Validity

Reports are valid for 90 days from the date of generation. After that, underlying data (flood maps, claims records, carrier availability, property condition) may have changed enough that the report no longer reflects current risk. We recommend purchasing a new report if your transaction or decision timeline extends beyond 90 days.

Refund Policy

We stand behind the quality of our reports. If your report contains no actionable findings — meaning every risk dimension scores low and there are no material recommendations — we will issue a full refund of $149. To request a refund, email reports@riskmeridian.io within 30 days of purchase with your report number.

We do not offer refunds for reports that contain findings you disagree with, or because you chose not to proceed with a transaction for unrelated reasons. If you believe your report contains a factual error, contact us and we'll investigate.

What You Can Do With Your Report

Your report is licensed for your personal or professional use in connection with the property transaction it was purchased for. You may share it with your real estate agent, lender, insurance agent, inspector, or other parties involved in your transaction.

You may not resell, redistribute, or republish reports — in whole or in part — for commercial purposes. You may not use our data or scores to build competing products or services.

What Our Reports Are Not

Risk Ready Reports are informational tools, not professional advice. They are not insurance policies, appraisals, inspections, engineering assessments, or legal opinions. See our full Disclaimers page for details.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Risk Meridian's total liability for any claim arising from your use of our reports or services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific report at issue.

We are not liable for decisions you make based on report content, including but not limited to: purchasing or not purchasing a property, selecting or not selecting an insurance carrier, undertaking or skipping repairs, or any financial outcome of a real estate transaction.

We are not liable for errors, omissions, or delays in third-party data sources that feed into our reports, nor for temporary unavailability of our website or services.

We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and accuracy of third-party data.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access our site or generate reports in bulk without written permission
• Attempt to reverse-engineer our scoring models or data pipelines
• Submit false property addresses or fraudulent payment information
• Use reports to misrepresent property conditions to buyers, sellers, lenders, or insurers
• Resell or sublicense reports or report data

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
